Production: Samson Film took it upon itself to make We Corner People pt-2 a successful film. We were heavily involved in directing this film in the remote locations of Rasuwa and Tetanche.
Filming: It was a challenge to film in such a wilderness location, but our team pushed through to get the best shots for the film.
The Realist
Project Overview
The Realist is a powerful documentary that follows the journey of four young Nepali men to the Gulf. This is the story of not just four men but millions of Nepalis who have left in the quest for something greater, but often met with frustration. It is equally gut-wrenching and empowering, but the truth is outspoken through a beautiful film.
Key contribution
Production: We accumulated footage from all across Dharan, Dhankuta, Kathmandu, Dubai, and Qatar to give this story what it deserves.
Filming: The filming was the hardest part as we had to show the 12-year journey. However, our expert team confidently handled the task.
Assistant Director: Samson takes pride in assisting in the directing scene of The Realist.
A Migrant Speak
Project Overview: Shunyata film has outdone itself once again with “ A Migrant Speak”. It captures the voices of migrants who were compelled to leave the comfort of their homes for an unknown wilderness in search of opportunities and money. However, their dreams shatter when met with disillusionment. The essence of this beautiful film is captured in different locations of Kathmandu, Dubai, and Ramechhap.

Hospital
Project Overview:
A Hospital is a documentary that captures the reality of a state-run hospital in the Kalikot district of Nepal. This film portrayed the true horror of people in remote parts being deprived of something like a hospital. This intimate and raw story is one of the best products of Shunyata films.
